Serving the people of Southwestern Alaska, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Hospital is a 50-bed general acute care medical facility. Fully accredited by JCAHO, services include adult med/surg, pediatrics, obstetrics, emergency room, as well as outpatient family medicine clinics, pharmacy, lab, and imaging.
Teaches EMS classes to Health Care Professionals and community member in the YK Delta, and prepares all associated paperwork and reports for EMS Classes. Assists with fulfilling the responsibilities of Regional EMS Office. Selects, trains/orients, assigns department staff, evaluate performance, and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
A high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience instructing or teaching, familiar with the State EMS system. Must be certified EMT1 or greater for minimum of 3 years. Must possess strong teaching skill and organizational skills. Prefer minimum three years sales and/or business experience. Current CPR/First Aid, EMT1 or higher Valid Alaska State Driver's License.
